As a trainer I always get asked questions about what should I eat or tell me what to eat and I always answer the same way just make healthy choices. Splenda seems to be the the healthy choice when going for a sugar replacement especially because of it's no-calorie packets which contain 3 to 4 calories per bag. When face with the issue to choose sugar or splenda I would go with splenda.
The best option would be to go without either but you don't have to sacrifice everything in life that is sweet. As long as you have a balance and live a healthy lifestyle you will be fine.
