How living healthy can help you think healthy!

By:Octaviano Luis Longoria, Certified Personal Trainer

"If a man does only what is required of him, he is a slave. If a man does more than is required of him, he is a free man." We are not required to live a healthy lifestyle but if you go and beyond before being required you will gain will power, self esteem, temperance, and confidence in yourself. When we live a healthy lifestyle it affects our brain chemistry suddenly we are balanced feel better, so we are more optimistic, more energetic, and overall just happier.

We must go above and beyond what is required of us or expected of us. "We are what we repeatedly do; excellence, then, is not an act but a habit." If we apply this to every aspect of our lives beginning with taking care of this magnificent machine whose design we have barely been able to grasp in the past couple of centuries because of the advances in science. We will live better and there have been proven studies that if you do live a healthy lifestyle you are less prone to have depression, bipolarity, and many other diseases including cancer.

Let me ask you if you eat healthy, and eat healthy what is going to stop you from thinking healthy? If you are always reinforcing positive thoughts by eating feeding your body the right way and exercising you won't even have time to think negatively because you will be engulfed in nothing but positive things. Which equal positive thoughts or healthy thinking in my opinion.

Healthy thinking in my opinion is being optimistic, thinking clearly, and having a mission. Healthy living gives you all of these things by giving you a mission, helps you plan to or think clearly, and gives you an opportunity to be optimistic because of your results. Live healthy, eat healthy, think healthy, and most importantly be healthy! "We must let go of who we are to become what we might be."
